somepage.com is the public marketing site for an independent engineering practice. The site is informational. Reading it does not create a client relationship.

Engagements are separate

If we agree to work together, the work is governed by a written statement of work or master services agreement signed by both parties. Anything on this site is descriptive, not contractual. Pricing, scope, and timelines are set per engagement.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break the site, scrape it abusively, or use it as a vector for anything illegal. We reserve the right to block traffic that does.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site (copy, design, code, marks) belongs to the studio unless noted. You can quote or link to it. Don't copy it wholesale or pass it off as your own.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We try to keep it accurate and up, but we don't guarantee it. Don't make business decisions based solely on something you read here without confirming it with us in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. If something we do under a paid engagement causes a problem, the engagement contract governs that, not this page.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will move the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
